There is a wide variety of plants on the territory of Dve mogili Municipality. All over the cultivable farmlands there are growing mainly bread-forage plants - wheat, barley, maize, sunflower and alfalfa.

     The production of vegetables has been reduced almost to a minimum after closing the cannery in Bazovets.

     During last several years the interest in cultivation of medicinal plants has increased. That is proved by the fact that in the area of the Municipality there are about 2 000 decares cropped with coriander; white marjoram; medical hollyhock and others. The trend for the future is toward increasing the sown area and including other types of medicinal plants.

     Variety of medicinal plants in the Municipality is about 150 species. The valley of the Cherni Lom River is a natural reserve for different types of herbs with valuable biological properties.

     All forests in the area are cultivated. Deciduous trees dominate - acacia, poplar, maple, oak, hornbeam, elm, lime, hazel, birch and others.
