From 2008, with resolution by the Municipal Council the last week of August has been appointed for celebrating “Week of the municipality”. This celebration is full of cultural, sport and entertainment events. Among the events of the cultural life of the municipality stands out the annual International Children's Folklore Festival "With the folklore of the past - together in the future”, which every year turns the municipality into a place for international cultural exchange.

     Children from different countries and ethnic groups become well acquainted with traditions, songs and dances of each other, get in touch with the diversity in the folklore of various nations, joint not only by their love of tradition, but also the messages that the art brings - messages for a better, more humane world, a world without borders - colorful and varied world of the tolerance, humanity, friendship and goodness.
